New president for DFK International

Leading accountancy firm Chantrey Vellacott DFK is pleased to announce that Mike Tovey, Managing Partner, has been elected President of DFK International, a major international association of independent accounting firms and business advisers.

The three year appointment was ratified at the DFK International Annual Conference held this year in Buenos Aires. Mike takes over from Ray Mack, a partner in the Calgary firm of Kenway Mack Slusarchuk Stewart LLP, who singled out as the highlights of his term of office the association’s ability to attract quality firms into membership throughout the world and DFK International’s successful steering through the network issue.

Mike Tovey, said, “I am delighted to have this honour conferred on me by the Board of DFK International and look forward to three exciting years. The challenging economic conditions facing many clients of member firms of DFK International will test us all. It is just as well that, at 20th worldwide, our international resources are stronger than ever.”
